Gallery: Delivered (2004)

I painted a life-sized truck on Tyvek paper. It measures 12 feet by 67 feet. Unlike
my vague anxieties and fears that have no form, no weight or sound, a trailer truck
I can see. It weighs. It rolls on huge wheels. It shines and snorts and honks
and roars. It gives shape to my shapeless fears. Unlike my fears,
I can paint a truck and hang it out to dry.
